VIP Personal Training was established in January of 2013. The business is based out of Norman, Oklahoma where it's owner has spent the past 7 years working in the health and wellness industry while attending the University of Oklahoma. The core values that set VIP Personal Training apart from any other gym or personal training service is their dedication and passion toward helping others succeed in their fitness journey. VIP welcomes all fitness levels and backgrounds and specializes in generating a specific workout plan for each client. There isn't a "cookie-cutter" workout at VIP Personal Training. Not only do we hold our end of the bargain by showing up with a safe, challenging, and effective workout each time to your doorstep; but we go the extra mile by checking with you throughout the week to see if you're taking the steps needed outside of your workouts in order to achieve your fitness goals. VIP Personal Training cares about each individual client on a personal level and is excited to assist you in any way possible to meet your health and fitness needs. Michael Wigington

My name is Michael Wigington, and I received my Bachelor of Science from The University of Oklahoma. I am nationally certified as a personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise(ACE) and have spent the past 6 years in Norman. I look forward to many healthy years to come, not just for myself but for you as well.

I started working as a personal trainer for a couple of reasons. First, because my family has had a predictable cause of heart issues due to a lack of healthy habits such as proper nutrition and exercise. Second, because since I was little, I was always drawn to the desire to help others through increased and continued mobility. I take joy in helping others reach their goals and seeing their confidence restored everywhere they go. So whether you're trying to lose weight, train for a triathlon, or just tired of going through the same routine, I'd love to work with you!

I have worked in multiple settings as a health and fitness specialist throughout the years and I believe that one-on-one personal training is the most effective approach to achieving your fitness goals. I've worked in gyms and have built a solid network through many of them. So if you feel after your first session that this approach isn't working for you, let me know and I'll do my best to find the right fit for you!
